First Annual Pioneer Heritage Festival ~ Sept. 25-26, 2027

🍂 Calling Appalachian Heritage Artisans! 🍂

We’re creating a brand-new Pioneer Heritage Festival, which will be held at The Pioneer Pointe music venue, in picturesque New Market, TN on September 25–26, 2027.

This isn’t just another craft fair.

Our vision is to create a festival where history comes alive.

We want families to gather around a blacksmith’s forge, watch baskets woven by hand, see pottery shaped on a wheel, see glass blowers create beautiful pieces.  Learn how handmade brooms are crafted, visit local farms, and experience the traditions that helped build our Appalachian communities.

We’re searching for artisans who don’t just sell their work—they enjoy sharing their knowledge.

If you love demonstrating your craft, answering questions, encouraging children to learn, or letting visitors watch your creative process, we’d love to talk with you.

🐐 Goat Farms producing cheese, soaps & lotions

🎻 Traditional Musicians & Storytellers

…and anyone keeping Appalachian traditions alive.

This event is still in the planning stages, we’re building relationships with talented artisans now, who would enjoy helping create something truly unique in East Tennessee.
